Baveras Brasserie which resides at Cunningham Pier, re-opened in November, with a much more cutting edge space, great views from all areas including the cafe, al fresco dining and now serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week, from 8am until late. Baveras Brasserie has taken inspiration from ‘open plan’ living in your home to create ‘open plan’ dining and socialising. In the morning you can expect great coffee, pastries, fresh juice, a good Bircher and the humble egg served as a culinary treat. Lunch varies from a light salad, a fresh baguette, to a risotto, a crispy pork belly or a twice cooked duck salad. Dinner will be a time for indulgence, with a more extensive menu featuring local seafood, melt in your mouth beef and signature dishes. A grazing menu is also featured throughout the day.
So next time your entertaining the thought of a lazy wine with good friends or perhaps an easy dining experience of some wonderful culinary choices or even one of those wonderful late sunday brunches where you have got all the time in the world to enjoy the view, you can’t possibly overlook Baveras Brasserie. I promise you it will join your list of preferred options when wining and dining in Geelong. Great food, wine and an amazing view……how could it not.Bookings: 5222 6377, www.baveras.com.au
