As part of the Melbourne Food And Wine festival, Geelong will the see the inaugural launch of their very own Geelong Food And Wine Show this coming labour day weekend. Deakin Waterfront will be transformed into a marketplace of more than 80 exhibitors presenting the very best in local produce. Highlights of the weekend will be masterclasses with renowned George Columbaris, Adriano Zumbo and Ben Donahue. There will be celebrity cook-offs with some well known faces including some of our Geelong Cats players. Events run 10-6pm daily over the weekend and tickets can be purchased at www.geelongfws.com.au.
Also this weekend brings the 22nd
Annual Agricultural Bellarine Show which will be held on Sunday 11 March at Portarlington Recreational Reserve from 9am. It promises to offer endless entertainment for the whole family. There will be displays, demonstrations, competitions and live entertainment throughout the day. Family tickets are $25 or Adults $10, Children U16 $5. www.bellarineshow.com.au
