This week feels like I’ve blinked and here comes the weekend….it certainly doesn’t always feel like that, that’s for sure!!
Anyway I hope everybody has booked their accommodation, has packed the kids and the car and are heading to our beautiful Otways for the annual International Lighthouse Weekend at Cape Otway – if your not off you go!! There will be lots on offer for both the adults and kids as well as experiencing our amazing coastline.
Bellarine Community Farmers Market is on this coming Saturday and is in it’s infancy in being a new market within our region, but quite the opposite when it comes to the wonderful produce only theme and community focus it offers. Saturday 9.00-1.00pm in Ocean Grove.
Do you like a curry? I know I love a curry and anything Indian, so if you would like to perfect your Indian cooking skills, then head to Wholefoods Café for Indian Cooking Classes on Saturday between 10.30-1.30pm.
Saturday night brings entertainment at the Sphinx in the form of the “Queen” Tribute Show, I would have to say amongst the world’s bands and from all accounts the cover version will definitely dish out it’s own great talent.
Sunday another new market in the region in the amazing Osborne House grounds and it’s called “Makers and Growers” Market. 9am – 1pm for a super array of stalls and a wonderful outlook.
Yes it’s high tea time again and this time it’s at Customs House. My husband and I went there for dinner recently and I have to say what a mouthwatering menu, second to none service and a really cosy and gorgeous décor and atmosphere. I don’t think the kids will sit quietly through a high tea but I can confidently say it would no doubt be a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon, followed by a lazy stroll along our beautiful waterfront.
Another weekend ahead with great choices to see and do. Enjoy and see you next week.
