A man is in a stable condition after being shot at Corio this afternoon.
BayFM news understands the man was shot in the leg just before 4pm in Springfield Court.

Ambulance crews have confirmed they have treated a man for a gunshot wound to the leg.
He’s been taken to Geelong Hospital in a stable condition.
Neighbours reported hearing a loud bang followed by screaming, and witnesses say a car carrying two men was seen racing away from the scene.
Police have cordoned off the street while they speak to witnesses.
The shooting comes just hours after well-known gangland figure Martin Paul died in hospital after being shot in the head last week.
The 55-year-old was shot at a flat at Bentleigh East in the early hours of June 11, and died in hospital this morning.
It’s not clear if the incident at Corio is in any way linked to the death of Mr Paul.
