police chopper helicopter A mother and her baby girl have been flown to Melbourne with head injuries after an accident at Stonehaven.

Police say two cars collided head-on on the Hamilton Highway around 6 o’clock last night.

It’s believed the 7-month-old girl was thrown from her baby capsule on impact.

She and her mother are both being treated for serious head injuries.

Four other people, all aged in their twenties, were taken to Geelong Hospital by road.
