Police van Geelong A Norlane man will spend the next eight years on the Sex Offenders Register after police found child pornography on computers at his home.

The Geelong Magistrates court has been told police raided the home of 44-year-old Ronald Bentley in August last year.

They seized computers and hard drives and found more than nine-hundred images and movie files.

Bentley has been handed a suspended four-month sentence after pleading guilty to knowingly posses child pornography.
