CADEL EVANS has struggled on stage 11 of the Tour De France, dropping from second to fourth in the overall standings.
The Barwon Heads based defending champion finished 11th in the stage, and is now more than three-minutes behind Britain’s BRADLEY WIGGINS, who retains the yellow jersey.
Meantime sprinter MARK RENSHAW has become the second Australian to abandon the race.
